MOJO FLOW

Sometimes I lose my scrapbooking mojo, and this is a layout about what happens when I lose my mojo, using a fantabulous kit from LB.

In this layout I primarily used this New Year's freebie from Krystal Hartley. I love how the blues went with the black and white picture! Oh, and the picture is of Skyelar and I before Homecoming back in October!

This is my layout for the First Round of March Madness at Scrapbook Challenges and this week I am up against Lauri! I also want to let you know that the bracket selection has been extended until March 20, 2012. Remember to upload your bracket to the gallery for a chance to win. In this layout I used quite a few products but I primarily used "My Altered Life," a TDC collab.

Even though I made a blog post, I still needed to scrapbook my spiral no-heat curling attempts! I used some of Mel's packs for Grab-A-Byte this month and an alpha from Studio sussieM.

SILLY & FUN

The journaling reads: "For my 15th birthday party I invited over Ayeonna and Skyelar. We went to Target and got Starbucks (delicious!). We tried on funky glasses and clothes we didn’t even buy, just to have fun. It was such an awesome time even though it was just the 3 of us!" The cute kit I used in this layout is from Julie of Sherwood Studio.

After begging asking my brother to answer a few questions, I was able to make this layout about what he thinks at age 6! This picture was taken at my 15th birthday party last month. We had a cute little photo booth, and he played up for the camera with the props. I used this spunk-a-licious kit from Laura and a template from one of my Mama's template packs, Fuss Free: Talkative 2.

The pictures I chose for my layout are of my cousin, Levi, that were sent to my Mama soon after he was born. I love the one where he's yawning. The sweet, soft colored baby kit I used is "Welcome Miracle" which is available at both Digiridooscraps and Scrap Matters.

"Out of the World"

Credits: Beautiful Day Elements by A+ Designs, Beautiful Day Papers by A+ Designs, Font: Typewriter

The scripture that I quoted in my layout is John 15:19: "If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you." When I was coming up with a title for the layout, I thought of the "Not of This World" brand, and I Googled for the verse that the brand name came from. I then adapted it to fit my layout. This layout uses two of the four packs Mel released last Saturday for Gotta Grab It at Gotta Pixel!
